Water Hygiene Engineer

South East

Salary: Competitive

Hours:  40hrs per week full time

About the role

Join our rapidly growing water hygiene department as we embark on a journey of expansion. We’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals to join our team as Water Hygiene Engineers.  

As you establish yourself within our team, the sky’s the limit! With potential pathways to progress to the role of Risk Assessor or explore other areas of interest within the business, your journey with us is brimming with possibilities. 

The role requires travel to sites across the UK so good timekeeping and organisation skills is essential. 

Day to day activities

  • Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems 
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers, etc 
  • Repair, replace and servicing of TMV’s, Showerheads etc 
  • Cold water storage tank /repairs/Clean & Disinfections 
  • Comply with the current Health and Safety legislation 
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with client’s complete reports on a tablet-based system 

What about you?

  • Experience in carrying out water hygiene duties in line with ACOP L8/HSG274 guidelines 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Competent in using Microsoft 

Desirable but not essential:

  • Plumbing qualifications NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent 
  • Experience in delivering remedial plumbing duties to a varied site base
